With three specialized lasers, the shop can now work across a full spectrum of materials—including wood, acrylic, metal, glass, and plastic.
There has been a lot of buzzing, zapping, and humming around the shop lately! We’ve been busy playing musical chairs with our machinery to make sure we can create the coolest projects possible.
First up, we gave our laser setup a serious power-up, jumping from the xTool F1 to the xTool F1 Ultra (dual laser). And wow—talk about a glow-up! The original F1 isn't retiring, though; it’s just joining our "away team" for pop-up markets to handle pendants, pet tags, and light engraving on the fly.
Of course, in the world of making, things are rarely "simple." We quickly realized the F1 Ultra is a bit of a powerhouse—sometimes a little too much for the delicate stuff. It’s like using a sledgehammer to hang a picture frame. So, naturally, we did the totally sane thing: we added the xTool F1 Ultra UV to the family!
Call it a little "laser fever," but we are determined to push the boundaries of what we can create. With the F1, the F1 Ultra, and the UV version all officially in our stable, we’ve got every base covered. Whether it’s glass, plastic, wood, or metal, we’re ready to customize just about anything on the spot.
Once the sawdust settles and the new lasers are dialed in, Black Creek Works is going to be your go-to local powerhouse for custom gifts, awards, and small-batch manufacturing. The future is looking bright (and very well-engraved)!
